Chelsey Novakovski has been licensed as a Registered Psychologist in Alberta since 2020. She is also a member of the Psychological Association of Alberta.

Chelsey completed her internship and provisional registration hours by working for school divisions across Saskatchewan and Alberta. Her clinical experiences have involved providing psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation services to support the learning, behavioural, and social/emotional needs of children and adolescents in schools. Chelsey’s previous professional experiences have also involved working with school-aged children and adolescents in school settings. In addition, she has volunteered her services for the Calgary Distress Centre as a crisis line volunteer.

Chelsey joined Randall Symes Psychological Services in 2020 where she completed her final provisional registration hours while working under the supervision of Dr. Randall and Dr. Symes. She specializes in psychoeducational assessments for children and adolescents who are experiencing cognitive, academic, and social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. Chelsey utilizes a social-ecological theoretical framework to understand the complex and interrelated relationship between the individual and family, peer group, school, cultural, and community factors that interact to influence the overall psychological well-being of children and youth. Chelsey is passionate about working with children and youth, their families, and school personnel.

In her free time, Chelsey enjoys traveling, outdoor activities, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
